I love that different time periods because it displays the clever way the writing explores new sections of the current story. We feel their jubilation, their anguish, and their relief. We are able to find out so much about Pepper’s past, and by the end I was finding excuses to listen to this audiobook – that never happens! A Closed and Common Orbit took everything I loved about A Long Way, added more to it, and it was amazing. I didn’t think I could love it even more than this, but I was wrong. Where Long Way told the story of a group of characters. Had I not, I don’t know that the transformation in the narrative would have been as stark to me. I read it right on the heels of its predecessor (Wayfarers 1), and am grateful that I did. I think everyone can remember how much I loved A Long Way. Tears were shed while listening to this audiobook. It’s fantastic, thought-provoking, and emotional. I have recommended it to so many people and have bought multiple people copies. I don’t think I’ll ever get over the Wayfarers Series.
